This wine's story

Winemaker, Erinn Klein and cofounder, Janet Klein took over their very own patch of the world-renowned Jurlique herb farm and started putting into practice all they had learnt while studying all things wine at Adelaide University. They met in 2000 while Erinn was studying oenology and Janet was studying viticulture and wine making. Let's just say, it was a match made in winemaking heaven, because fifteen years later that are pioneers in small batch biodynamic wine making.

Sommelier Notes

Erinn and Janet Klein are dedicated farmers in the Adelaide Hills. Their property sits on the original land planted with a range of herbs, flowers and botanicals for use in the Jurlique skincare range, and remains untouched by synthetic chemicals to this day.
JE is their range of blended grape varieties (as JE is a blend of their initials), and this is a mix of Chardonnay and Viognier.

Rich, textured and lightly creamy, it takes its power from the ripeness of the grapes, but finishes with juicy, citrusy acidity.
