This wine's story

This winery is the definition of a family business. There are five members of the Jericho family to be precise. Neil and Kaye are the parents and between them have 70 years of globe-traversing winemaking experience. Sally is the eldest child and is the business brains of the operation. Andrew is following in his parents footsteps and fast becoming a grape whisperer. And the youngest member Kim, a graphic designer, provides the artistic flare for the family and designs all the labels and pretty much everything else.

This trending Italian grape is zesty and fresh, but also carries with it some extra weight which means it can stand up to some of the medium textured fish such as Red Snapper or Trout.

Sommelier Notes

Fiano originally hails from Campania in the south of Italy but is gaining momentum here in Australia. It offers a wide spectrum of delicious flavours including almond, pear, white apricot, candied lemon and beeswax! This example from the Adelaide Hills in South Australia is no exception and over-delivers in spades. Juicy yet crisp, with amazing refreshment, this is perfect with all types of seafood.
