This wine's story

After 25 years of wine making experience at the top wine producers in the Margaret River and the Napa Valley, Bruce Dukes decided it was time to make wine on his terms. So in 2000 he did just that and Naturaliste Vintners was born. And it didn't take long for his supreme wine making talents to be recognised; Bruce was awarded “Best WA Winemaker” by Wines of Western Australia in 2011!

But Bruce doesn't just have a commercially green thumb, with a Agricultural Science Degree and a Viticulture Masters as well as numerous published scientific articles he has the wine brains to back it up.

Sommelier Notes

Named after the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge that runs along the eastern edge of the Margaret River region, this is a classic Cabernet from one of the areas up and coming producers.

Rich and textured, this offers up notes of dark plum, black cherry and subtle notes of vanilla and chocolate. Soft and succulent, but with delicate tannins, this is fine modern Australian Cabernet.
